Today’s the big one. We’ll sail early from Korčula — it’s the longest leg of the week (~5.5–6.5 hrs) — aiming to be docked in Dubrovnik by around 2 PM (we’ll work with the captain on the earliest comfortable departure). 🤍
Dubrovnik is huge, and there’s so much to do that today is a perfect day to venture out on your own or in little groups. Below are our researched ideas, sorted by afternoon, golden hour & night — scroll down, add your name to anything, and you’ll see who else is going. 🏰
Tonight, Robert & Carlie are slipping away for a private date night — our very last evening before becoming husband & wife. 🤍
So tonight you’re wonderfully on your own: dinner is on your own (pick anything from the food ideas below!), and you might just spot us out for a nightcap in town or back on the boat later. Go have the best night — we’ll see you bright-eyed for the wedding tomorrow! ✨

The iconic 2 km medieval wall circuit wrapping the Old Town — jaw-dropping views over terracotta rooftops and the Adriatic. Go early-evening to dodge the worst heat & crowds.

A 4-minute ride up to 415 m for the single best view in the city — the whole walled Old Town and islands laid out below. There’s also the Homeland War museum at Fort Imperial up top.

A 10-minute boat hop to a lush nature reserve: swim coves, a salt-water lake, roaming peacocks, a botanical garden, and the Iron Throne (Lokrum played Qarth in Game of Thrones). Easy, breezy half-day.

Dubrovnik is King’s Landing. A guided walk hits Fort Lovrijenac (the Red Keep), the Jesuit Stairs (Cersei’s Walk of Shame), Pile Bay & more — with clips and behind-the-scenes stories.
A 500-year-old Renaissance garden ~30–40 min up the coast — it played the Red Keep Gardens where Tyrion, Olenna & co. plotted. The closest “out-of-town” trip that actually fits today.
Paddle right beneath the towering walls, around Fort Lovrijenac, over to Lokrum and into Betina cave beach for a swim. A sweaty-but-stunning way to see the city from the water.
The cheap-and-delicious route: grab a flaky burek, try rožata (Dubrovnik’s custard), snack on fresh figs from the market, and chase it all with gelato as you wander the marble streets.
A guided graze through the Old Town — Ston oysters, pršut & cheese, Pelješac reds and Pošip whites, with a local guide unpacking the history bite by bite.

Squeeze through a hole in the seaward wall (look for the “cold drinks” sign) to a bar perched on the cliffs over the Adriatic. Cash-only, simple drinks, unbeatable sunset. The most Dubrovnik thing you can do.
The classic pebble beach just outside the Old Town walls, with the dreamiest view back to the city & Lokrum. Loungers, cocktails, and a swim — then it morphs into a club after dark.
The fun, lively beach on the Babin Kuk peninsula — water slides into the sea, jet-skis, banana boats, paddleboards, a beach bar and DJ. The playful, do-stuff option. Robert & Carlie are leaning this way for the afternoon.
A polished west-facing beach club on the Lapad peninsula — cabanas, cocktails, a DJ and one of the best sunset perches in the city. The grown-up, chic alternative to Copacabana.
Treat yourself before the wedding day: a massage, sauna and sea-view pool at a hotel spa like the Hotel Excelsior or Energy Clinic. The calm, restorative pick.

A pretty, laid-back seaside town ~20 min away by boat — a palm-lined promenade, calm swimming, and unhurried waterfront cafés. A gentle escape from the Old Town buzz.

Ride back up Mt Srđ for golden hour — drinks at the summit bar while the Old Town glows amber and the sun drops behind the islands. Simple, gorgeous, unforgettable.
Since Robert & Carlie are slipping off to their private date night (at Prora), dinner’s on you tonight — a perfect excuse to gather a little crew and treat yourselves. Lots of the group are heading up to Restaurant Panorama at the top of the cable car for sunset views over the Old Town — come join! Other beloved tables: Proto (classic seafood), Restaurant Dubrovnik (refined rooftop), Lady Pi-Pi (grilled meats & a view, casual), Pantarul or Azur (modern, in Lapad/Ploče).
Book ahead — August tables fill fast. And if you’re happy for company, post your dinner plan below so others can join! 🤍
Dubrovnik’s legendary club, set inside a 16th-century fortress — world-class DJs, huge sound, and a voted-top-100-in-the-world reputation. If you want to dance, this is it.
The same dreamy beach spot, now with the lights on and the music up — dancing on the sand with the floodlit walls behind you. An easygoing party right by the Old Town.
A sophisticated rooftop perch with city & sea views and cocktails to match — it stays open into the early hours, so it works for both a classy first drink and a dance till late.
A cocktail bar built inside an actual seafront cave, complete with a glass floor over an illuminated rock pool. Wildly cool for a memorable drink — and our late-night group meetup!
A cozy, beloved little wine bar tucked in an Old Town alley — flights of Croatian wines, knowledgeable staff, low-key and warm. The perfect relaxed nightcap.
If the club’s not your speed, come back to the cliff bar under the stars — a quiet drink with the waves below and the night sky above. Pure magic, no pretense.
Dubrovnik’s breezy rooftop terrace bar — a big open-air deck, cocktails and a fun crowd. A great middle-ground between a chill drink and a full club night.
Tell us so everyone’s accounted for — and if you’re up for company, we’ll turn it into something others can join (dinner crews welcome!).
Breezy resort-casual by day. For evening, think elevated coastal — linen, light dresses, and comfortable shoes for all that marble (and the wall steps!). Save the show-stoppers for tomorrow. 🤍
Everything here is just an idea. Wander, join a crew, or stay aboard and rest up for the wedding — all equally perfect. ⚓
